Moorgate Farm Livery is proud to provide top quality care for your horses in Laxton. We believe in providing the best service possible with friendly and knowledgeable support for you and your horse. We understand that each horse has individual needs and we are dedicated to tailoring our care to ensure the highest level of wellbeing for your horse.
We offer a range of livery options to be as flexible as possible but if you can't find what you're specifically looking for please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Stables
We currently have a selection of fabulous 12' & 14' Lodden stables fully up and running, a tack room, feed room and storage areas, cold /hot wash & tacking up area all under one roof. Our outdoor yard area is still work in progress with plans for dedicated equine facilities.
Hacking & grazing
We have great hacking from the yard around the village with the open fields just a few yards down the quiet road .
When the ground is fit we can dedicate an area of paddock for exercise and put jumps and poles out, this is separate from your grazing paddocks.
Turnout
We’re able to provide individual pairs or small herd turnout, 24/7 during the summer and daily over winter. When the weather is wet and the ground sodden we have crew yard turnout for essential leg stretch and change of scenery. We find that the horses settle very nicely in the crew yards, they appreciate going out and are not stood around in mud at the gate waiting to come in. All are bedded down on straw.
